The UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) is a digital travel permission for travelers from visa-free countries who travel to the United Kingdom for a short stay, for example tourism, business, or transit. After submission your application is assessed. In most cases you will have an answer within a few days; sometimes it takes 24 to 72 hours if extra verification is needed. Make sure your ETA is approved before departure, because airlines check this.
Your approved ETA is linked digitally to your passport and you receive a notification by email. You do not need to print anything.
